I kept on ignoring the presence of ants in my house and know I need ant control. Although, I was worried about it but other things kept me so busy that this issue was almost ignored and then the things starting getting worst when my plants were damaged by the presence of ants. I could not bear this damage so I started looking for ways to control ants. I got some interesting tips from a book regarding ant control in my backyard. One of the tips was to grow a companion plant, the one which keeps the ants away from your favorite plants with its fragrance. I would like to mention the names of such plants that can discourage ants to enter your sweet backyard and hence your plants would remain healthy. The lavender, tansy, sage and catnip are the best choices for companion plants. Keep in mind that these are some examples and maybe these won’t work in your region so you have to find the companion plant for your region on your own, a gardener can be of great help in this regard.
